Перспектива
Сейчас «оптимизм», а «без разницы» будет потом.
Но факт оптимизма уместен на данном отрезке –
Пока не воздвигнут ещё «Воспитательный дом»,
Пока в отражении зеркала – сам Брунеллески,
Пока не сказал Микеланджело: «Лучше – нельзя!» –
И Санта-Мария дель Фьоре не встала под купол…
Как много «пока»! А потом, – на ходу тормозя,
В табачном тумане придётся признаться, что глупо
За здравие пить и колонны из «лёгких свечей»
За здравие ставить в своём заколоченном храме.
Но, может, не глупо, а поздно? Из этих ночей
Никто не выходит живыми – выносят. Рядами
Кладут и по векам холодным проводят рукой.
Ну зеркало могут ко рту поднести для проверки…
И свечи, и стопки, и за (даже за-а-а) упокой…
И кто-нибудь в трауре снимет слезу, кто-то мерки.
Заметят, что «вот, не воздвиг "Воспитательный дом",
И облик Флоренции точно такой же, как раньше…».
Но если всё это и есть «оптимизм», что потом?
Не Санта-Мария дель Фьоре, а купол из фальши.
Пусть кто-то добавит: «Как жаль, что не взял высоту…
Была ведь видна Перспектива во всём её блеске!»
Да только вот в зеркале том, что подносят ко рту, –
Не видно лица.
………………...В том числе и лица Брунеллески.
