Поведай мне, чем так встревожен ты, брат?
Ты знаешь, я странное видел виденье:
Чрез грозное море три птицы летят,
Сверкает под молнией их оперенье.
Волнуется море,
Клокочет волнами,
Огромные к небу вздымает валы.
Свет тучи закрыли,
Все мрак покрывает;
Вдали лишь светлеет полоска земли,

Вот первая сильно взмахнула крылом,
Рванулась навстречу холодному ветру,
Сквозь черные тучи, сквозь ливень и гром,
Стрелою несется к далекому свету:

могучие крылья не скоро устанут,
На том берегу лишь она отдохнет,

То на воду сядет, то снова летит,

Мы так же стремимся к заветному свету,
