Самый светлый, самый необычный день в жизни - это, конечно, день рождения...
Рано утром, еще не открыв глаза, уже чувствуешь по тишине, которая стоит в комнате, что сегодня должно произойти что-то особенное, необычайно-радостное.
- А вдруг все забыли про день рождения? - мелькает тревожная мысль.
Но нет... Вот на столе появляется праздничный пирог, часы бьют назначенный час, и тут же на лестнице раздаются шаги гостей.
Не удивительно, что и маленький Слоненок, у которого сегодня день рождения, так взволнован. Да и как ему не волноваться, если с минуты на минуту к нему должна придти в гости целая компания друзей: Волчонок, Поросенок, Верблюжонок и маленький Утенок - его самый лучший друг.
- А вдруг их что-нибудь задержало? - тревожится Слоненок... Но вот за дверью раздались знакомые шаги, и в комнату первым вошел старый и умный Сурок, "знаменитый педагог". Этот Сурок, действительно, очень умный, и если бы не он, то, кто знает, может быть, день рождения у Слоненка и не окончился бы благополучно...
Дело в том, что мама Слониха испекла к празднику пирог, большой и красивый, с румяной хрустящей корочкой. Ах, какая вкусная начинка была у этого пирога! Но, к сожалению, никто так и не узнал, какая начинка была у пирога, потому что никто не попробовал даже кусочка... В то время, пока наивный Волчонок развлекал друзей веселой песенкой, Утенок пытался рассказать сказку про "крякрясную" Шапочку, а Верблюжонок читал свое стихотворение про елочку, которая оказалась такой вкусной, хитрый Кот (незваный гость на этом торжестве) съел весь пирог... И если бы не мудрый Сурок, то все зверята подумали бы, что это сделал Волчонок.
О том, что придумал изобретательный Сурок, чтобы найти воришку, ты узнаешь, прослушав всю сказку. Ее написали поэт Давид Самойлов и композитор Борис Чайковский.

It is not surprising that the little elephant, who has a birthday today, is so excited. Yes, and how can he not worry if a whole company of friends should come to visit him from a minute: a wolf, a pig, a camel and a little duckling - his best friend.
- What if something delayed them? - The elephant is worried ... But the familiar steps were heard behind the door, and the old and smart thunder, "the famous teacher", entered the room first. This marf is really very smart, and if it were not for him, then who knows, maybe the elephant’s birthday would not end safely ...
The fact is that the mother of the elephant baked a pie, large and beautiful, with a brilliant crust for the holiday. Ah, what a delicious filling this pie was! But, unfortunately, no one found out what kind of filling the pie was, because no one even tried a piece ... while the naive wolf cub entered friends with a cheerful song, the duckling tried to tell a fairy tale about the "quarrel" hat, and The camel read his poem about a Christmas tree, which turned out to be so tasty, a cunning cat (an uninvited guest in this celebration) ate the entire pie ... And if not for a wise frisky, then all the beast would have thought that the wolf cub did it.
