по Божьей воле;
кротко и тихо воспряли

взирать к Тебе, о мой Спаситель верный!
Хоть разрушается строенье тела –
не падаю я духом в упованьи:
со мною Иисус и в смерти,
меня избавит Он от всякого мученья.

О, чудо! Сердце
перед могилой, ненавистною для плоти
и пред страданиями смерти
не страшится!
Сие творит Христос – Он истинный Твой Сын,
Спаситель верный:
уже на смертном Он моём одре
возвеселяет душу сладостью небесной.
Его Ты, Боже, мне позволил зреть,
когда в исполненное время руки веры
спасение Господнее объяли;
и возвестил мне
о великом Боге,
Творце всего,
что Он – жизнь и спасенье,
утешенье и наследье человеков,
избавленье от погибели
и в умирании, и в смерти.

Непостижимый исполняет свет
круг всей земли.
Он светит мощно, непрестанно
обетованьем вожделенным, высочайшим :
кто верует, спасён тот будет.

О, благости неистощимое сокровище,
которое открылось людям:
становится оно
миру, подпавшему проклятия и гнева игу,
престолом милости
и знаменьем победы,
и в царство благодати призываются
всех верующих души.
6. Choral
Он – свет блаженный
и спасение язычников,
чтоб просветить тех, кто не ведает Тебя
и упасти их.
Израилю же, Твоему народу,
Он – честь и слава, радость и веселье.
