Конь громадная скотина,

Конь не любит нападать.
Но опасен конь – подранок:
Людоедом может стать.
А давеча с леспромхоза
Объявился конь шатун.
Мы узнали по навозу,
Что он голоден и юн.
Воровал он кур из хлева
Для коня еда мелка
Но однажды, озверевший,
Он напал на лесника.
Тот с обхода шёл в бригаду
Цель была уже близка.
Конь метнулся из засады
И вцепился в старика.
И нашли мы спозаранку,
Истоптавши всю тайгу.
Только ватник да ушанку
В окровавленном снегу.
Но с подранком несравнимо
И страшнее, чем шатун.
Если голодом гонимый
Конь сбивается в табун.
Недоступной нет добычи
Для такого табуна.
Но охотится обычно он
На крупного слона.
Вот умело маскируясь
Сквозь траву они ползут
Озираясь и шифруясь,
Кони в круг слона берут.
Тот не ведает подвоха,
Мирно чавкает и срёт.
И не знает он как плохо
Будет то, что его ждёт.
Подготовлена атака,
Раздаётся краткий ржун.
То вожак секретным знаком
Поднял на слона табун.
Кони кинулись толпою,
Кто за хобот, кто за хвост.
Слон мотает головою,
Хочет сквозь зажатый нос
Он подать сигнал тревоги,
Чтоб приятели слоны
Помогли, но звук выходит
Из обратной стороны.
Дело кончено в минуту
Слон обглодан до костей.
А табун улёгся кругом,
Переваривать трофей.
