Maxim Mrvitsa was born in 1975 in a small town of Sibenik, located on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. From the age of 9, he began to play the piano, and in the same year he had his first open concert. After only three years, the talented Maxim already knew how to perform Haydn's piano concert together with the symphonic orchestra. But the path to further success was really difficult. In 1990, the Civil War began in Yugoslavia. Maxim and his professor Maria Sesko (Marija Sesko) were still continuing the rehearsals of the game on the piano. Despite the difficult situation, Maxim in 1993 received the first prize in his life at the festival in the city of Zagreb, in northeastern Yugoslavia. For the next 5 years, he studied at the Zagreb Music Institute under the leadership of Professor Vladimir Krpan. Then, in 1999, he entered the famous conservatory named after the Liszt Ferment in Budapest. During his studies, he took first place at the International Competition of the Piano Games named after Nikolai Rubinstein. (Nicolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition). In 2000, he moved to Paris and became a student of Professor Igor Lazko, and a year later he won at another piano competition in the capital of France. (Pontoise Piano Competition)
