Я шёл за ней, я глух и нем,

В ночном экстазе бился я,
И слышал только мрачный смех:
«Твоя душа теперь моя,
Призвать Суккуба — смертный грех!»
И я сгорел, затем остыл,
Любовь прошла, и жар пропал,
Упал мой меч, а я без сил,
Суккуб меня околдовал!
Она звала меня на край,
Где грех и пламя — смертный рай.
Я шёл за ней, я глух и нем,
Не знал, что ждал меня там плен!
И шёпот ночи мне кричал:
«Ты сам её в тот миг позвал!»
«Ты шёл за ней в свой смертный рай,
Теперь в объятиях умирай!»
