В этом омуте дней,
Кто кружится над ней?
Тьма завесой упала,
Мать сынов не узнала.
Нас отправили в путь,
Наше солнце вернуть.
Стук вагонов в ночи
Даст уснуть нам почти.
Мы прибыли сюда,
Нас настигла беда.
Мой товарищ упал
И домой не попал.
По краям летит глас,
Что победа настала.
Только правду от нас,
Тень крыла закрывала.
Но поколений голос грохочет громче града.
Теперь я вижу свет, я знаю где есть правда.
Вначале было слово,
А после поступил приказ.
7 дней мне не казались раем,
Когда раскаты громыхали.
Достаточно ли,
Господин политрук,
Мир увидал
Мертвых связанных рук?
Достаточно ли,
Я на поле страдал,
Чтоб край мой родной
Яркий диск освещал?
Железные птицы
Кружат надо мной.
Им не спится
Под кровавой луной.
На рассвете ждёт нас
Последний бой.
Вот и весь мой рассказ.
“Навеки твой…”
Однажды стихнут бури звуки
И поле зарастет цветами.
Наполнится дом мой далекий
Родными мне голосами.
Кто кружится над ней?

Waiting for us at dawn
Last fight.
That's my whole story.

And the field will be overgrown with flowers.
My distant home will be filled
Voices that are dear to me.
