Incantations is the fourth studio album of the British multi -instrumentalist Mike Oldfield, released in 1978. The album is a kind of line in his work, after which Oldfield began to move towards simpler music.
Unlike the previous three albums, Incantations consists of four parts, there is a lyrics in the album. However, the popularity of Oldfield began to fall: Incantations was noted only in 14th place in UK Albums Chart. After the album was released, Mike Oldfield went to his first concert tour.
