Инструментальная композиция, правда с вокалом, но без слов, автор Ричард Райт. Музыка была уже полностью готова, но всем членам группы казалось, что чего-то не хватает. Тогда они пригласили на запись Клэр Торри — штатную вокалистку студии Abbey Road, которую рекомендовал группе Алан Парсонс, работавший с Торри ранее. Она импровизационно исполнила вокальную партию в этой песне. Никто из «флойдов» не знал, что именно им надо. Первоначально Клэр напевала что-то вроде «Oh, baby-baby…», но Уотерс с этим не согласился. Он сказал: «твой голос — это музыкальный инструмент, делай с ним что хочешь». Последовало несколько импровизаций. Во время записи Клэр Торри говорила: «можем сделать сколько угодно дублей, но запишем первый: лучше всего у меня получается с первого раза». Так и вышло: на альбом попала первая запись. Вокалистке за труды была выплачена двойная ставка, равная 30 фунтам. Однако впоследствии группа признала за ней соавторство композиции и назначила соответствующее вознаграждение.

ABOUT SONG:
The instrumental composition, though with vocals, but without words, the author Richard Wright. The music was already completely ready, but it seemed to all members of the group that something was missing. Then they invited the Claire Torry to record - the full -time vocalist of the studio Abbey Road, which was recommended by the Alan Parsons, who worked with Torry earlier. She improvisationally performed the vocal part in this song. None of the Floyd knew what exactly they needed. Initially, Claire hummed something like “OH, Baby-Baby ...”, but Waters did not agree with this. He said: "Your voice is a musical instrument, do what you want with him." Several improvisations followed. During the recording, Claire Torry said: “We can make as many bipes, but we will write down the first: I can best succeed the first time.” And so it happened: the first entry hit the album. The vocalist for the labors was paid a double rate equal to 30 pounds. However, later the group recognized the co -authorship of the composition and appointed the corresponding reward.
