Благой речью тебя, о Гириша, достичь [Тебя желая], молим! Итак, сделай нам весь этот мир свободным от зла, радостным [для нас].

Его, Синешеего, принимающего Образ Солнца - алеющего на восходе и закате, - видят пастухи и женщины, пьющие воду, - все созданные (существа) в мире. Так Видимый [всеми] да будет к нам милостив!

Расслабленной сделай тетиву от одного конца лука Твоего до другого. Те стрелы, что держишь в руках, спрячь их [от нашего взора], о Господь!

nishIrya shalyAnAM mukhA shivo naH sumanA bhava .. 11..
vijyaM dhanuH kapardino vishalyo bANavA uta .
aneshannasyeshhava Abhurasya nishha.ngathiH .. 12..
Пусть лук Спутанноволосого ослабит свою тетиву, да не будет она дрожать от стрел, пусть Его стрелы не поражают цель, пусть меч Его, убранный в ножны, не ранит.

О Ты, Податель благ, то оружие и лук [,что] в Твоих руках, - тем не вредящим оружием, полностью защити нас!

Да будет поклонение Твоему не разящему, но мощному оружию, а также обеим Твоим рукам и Твоему луку!
