Верю,
Есть царство Божье седьмое небо.
Мне бы на войне своей кровью
Омыть грехи, скверны.
Идёт война, а здесь солдаты рядовые
Здравствуй Бог, пишу письмо тебе впервые
С десяток лет, что тебя нет, нас убеждали,
А впереди туман, какой жестокий был обман
Прошлой ночью я смотрел из кратера, что выбила граната,
Как небо звездное, что было надо мной
Средь бойни ужаснейшего ада
Ты мне явился, открылся белую звездой,
А я не мой, и этой ночью нужно отправляться
Нас ожидает дивный бой
А у меня вся жизнь перевернулась, фрицев рой,
А на душе такой покой
На фронте много дел, а в нашей роте много тел
Господь, прости, за это время я прозрел
Отныне смерти больше не боюсь,
Лишь ты б открыл, когда к тебе я постучусь.

Мне бы на войне своей кровью
Омыть грехи, скверны.
Я видел Господа в окопе с нами рядом,
И слёз тяжёлых Его полные глаза.
На нас смотрел Отцовским любящим Он взглядом,
А после руки свои молча показал.
На них отверстия, но это не осколки.
Туда поместятся с лихвой мои перста.
И тут же вздрогнул, будто в плоть мою иголки,
Я чётко видел эти раны у Христа.
И слёзы горькие упали на ланиты,
Мы оба плакали, не отводя глаза.
На сердце боль, как много же убитых.
Я лишь «прости» успел Ему сказать…
Исчез Господь, Он был в окопе рядом.
И слёз тяжёлых от нас Он не скрывал.
Смотрел на всех родным Отцовским взглядом,
И каждый воин без слов всё понимал….
