Но любили мы так, как никто никогда,
Как большие любить не могли.
Только — ангелы рая за эту любовь
Рассердились на Аннабель-Ли.
Оттого и случилось — в той дальней стране,
Где у берега спят корабли, —
С моря ветер холодный дохнул из-за туч
И убил мою Аннабель-Ли.
И родные блестящей толпой собрались
И ее от меня унесли.
Чтобы в темном гробу схоронить навсегда
В глубине той далекой земли.
Видно, мало в раю знали счастья, что рай
Позавидовал детям земли:
Это ведомо всем в том далеком краю,
Где у берега спят корабли.

Каждый звездный алмаз — словно свет ее глаз,

Если ж ночь и темна — снова я и она,

Тихо спим под покровом земли —

There I knew the girl (it was a long time ago),
And I called her Annabel-Lee.
I lived with her alone, and she was only me,
And, playing, we grew together.
We were both children - in a distant country,
Where ships are sleeping near the shore, -
But we loved like no one ever
How big they could not love.
Only - angels of paradise for this love
Enjoyed by Annabel-Lee.
That’s why it happened - in that distant country,
Where ships are sleeping near the shore, -
From the sea, the cold wind died due to clouds
And killed my Annabel-Lee.
And relatives gathered with a brilliant crowd
And she was carried away from me.
To bury forever in the dark coffin
In the depths of that distant land.
Apparently, little in paradise knew happiness that paradise
Envied the children of the Earth:
This is known to everyone in that distant land,
Where ships are sleeping near the shore.
Why did the black wind die because of the clouds
And killed my Annabel-Lee.
But we loved like none of the people
How big they could not love -
Though we are wise, they could not;
And neither the angels of paradise fields are powerful
And not demons in the bowels of the Earth

The moon from the embroidery sends radiant dreams
About me and about Annabelle-Lee;
Each star diamond is like the light of her eyes,
The quiet gaze of my Annabel-Lee;
If the night is dark - I and her again,

We quietly sleep under the cover of the earth -
