Я не знаю, с чего мне начать эту странную песню…
Были раньше три девушки связаны дружбой навеки.
У одной из них сердце Гармонии полно чудесной,
Две другие отдали их жребии Мраку и Свету.
Это было давно, и все песни о том позабыты…
То далёкое мне открывалось в видении грозном:
Свет и Тьма меж собою сошлись на смертельную битву,
В чистой радуге ярко сверкали зелёные звёзды.
Старый Свет был покрыт серебристым мерцающим пеплом,
В старой Тьме незаметно вилось золотое свеченье…
Что случилось меж ними? Никак не найду я ответа.
Видно, это пока за чертой моего разуменья.
Что там было? Когда? Как узнать, как понять, как проверить?
Только сердце в груди колотилось до боли упруго,
Ибо видела я не врагов, что сцепились, как звери, –
Просто братьев, что из-за обмана пошли друг на друга.
Не осталось легенд, чтобы выплакать все наши слёзы…
Но в ветрах изменённого Мира я слышу поныне,
Будто Воин из Тьмы зажигал изумрудные звёзды,
Будто Воин из Света пустил семицветье меж ними.
Но порыв трёх друзей был судьбою уже не замечен,
Полыхнуло сраженье, и Мир разлетелся на части.
Жадный рыжий огонь всё вокруг исказил, изувечил,
Но над дружбою верных сердец был он всё же не властен.
Это было давно, Свет и Тьма с той поры изменились,
И запреты легли между ними невидимой гранью…
Но я верю, что узы меж нами ещё сохранились
И мы встретимся вновь, хоть друг друга сперва не узнаем.
Может быть, для меня нет пути, и уже слишком поздно
Попытаться исправить хоть что-то для нас в этом мире,
Но пока я жива, по ночам будут сниться мне звёзды –
Те зелёные звёзды и радуга в небе меж ними…
