Исходное положение: кадриль.
Нумерация пар: напротив первой стоит вторая, слева от первой — третья, справа — 4-я (внимание! нумерация отличается от обычной кадрильной). 1-я и 2-я пары называются top-пары, 3-я и 4-я — side-пары.
Интродукция.
1–8 На начало танца все стоят в «сетовом» квадрате. На последние 4 такта кланяются сначала партнёру «по углу», потом своему.

1–8 1я top пара «показывает даму» — вальсовое кружение внутри сетового квадрата.
Одиночная смена.
9–24 Меняются top-дамы, дважды поворачиваясь по часовой стрелке (4 такта), затем top-кавалеры, тоже поворачиваясь (4 такта). Потом фигура повторяется side-дамами и side-кавалерами (8 тактов).
