Словно загнанный конь, закусив удила,
Я по жизни скачу всё быстрей да быстрее,

И секунды стучат, и минуты кричат,
Каждый час, словно выстрел, по-снайперски точный,
А мечты и надежды всё молчат да молчат,-2раза
Подгоняют меня к остановке бессрочной.
А дорога трудна — мне другой не дано,
Впереди только ямы, ухабы да кочки,
На дороге моей бурелома полно
И врагов не сочтёшь по кустам вдоль обочин…
Я скачу много лет, а попутчиков нет:
Поостыли друзья, поотстали в дороге…
Рядом только жена, негасимый мой свет,-2раза
Пожалейте её и помилуйте, Боги!
Отдыхать недосуг, остановки не жду,
Мне скакать суждено до победной могилы…
На секунду замру да к земле припаду —
Мать-земля, помоги, дай мне веру и силу!
И земля, как всегда, не продаст, не предаст,
Не прогонит меня, а поймёт и поможет,
Для дороги моей силу новую даст,
В душу новую песню возьмёт да положит!
И опять я силён. Не печалься, жена,
Улыбнись мне скорей, человек мой красивый!
