Борис Евгеньевич Базуров (род. 26 мая 1959) — русский композитор, музыкант, дирижер, педагог, этномузыколог, признанный в мире российский исполнитель на чепмен стике, создатель авторской музыкальной системы «гуслетар».
В период 1979 г. по 1987 г. Борис Базуров был солистом Ансамбля народной музыки под управлением Дмитрия Покровского, организатором и художественным руководителем фольклорных ансамблей «Круг» и «Русичи». А так же, первой русской этно-рок группы «Народная Опера», существующей до сих пор.
В ансамблях Бориса Базурова были совершены успешные попытки музыкальных реконструкций таких типов русской этнической музыки как — хора владимирских рожечников, новгородского скоморошьего ансамбля гудошников и гусляров, мужского вокального ансамбля воинского древнерусского стиля, народной драмы-комедии «Лодка», сольного исполнения былин, духовных стихов и апокрифов под аккомпанемент колесной лиры и средневековых гуслей и др. Многое было сделано впервые в советской и российской концертной практике.

Однако, в стихе есть "натяжка". Обычно хвастать женою в былинах--значит обнаруживать глупость. Это плохое предзнаменование для героя. И в мифах, которые идут за тем это подтверждается.
