Domine, Jesu Christe, Rex gloriæ,
libera animas omnium fidelium defunctorum
de pœnis inferni et de profundo lacu.
Libera eas de ore leonis,
ne absorbeat eas tartarus,
ne cadant in obscurum;
sed signifer sanctus Michæl
repræsentet eas in lucem sanctam,
quam olim Abrahæ promisisti et semini ejus.
Господи, Иисус Христос, Царь славы,
освободи души всех верных усопших
от наказаний ада, от глубокого рва.
Освободи их от пасти льва,
да не поглотит их Тартар,
да не упадут они во тьму.
Но святой Михаил знаменосный
представит их в священном свете:
как некогда Ты обещал Аврааму и семени его.
