Тёмная и меланхолическая атмосфера придётся по вкусу какпоклонникам CMI, так и WKN. Westwind звучит крайне оригинально и имеет свой уникальный стиль, благодаря чему заслужила внимание многих слушателей и ряд издателей, включая Neuropa Records. На наш взгляд, после LJDLP и DV одна из немногих стоящих французских групп на martial сцене. И, кстати, материал группы в полне в духе раннего DERNIERE VOLONTE, но ни в коем случае не сказать, что это подражание
