JAQUES

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin'd,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav'd, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

Monologue Jacques

"The whole world is the theater, and people in it are actors"

(Act II, scene VII)

Jacques:

The whole world is the theater.
In it women, men - all the actors.
They have their own exits, leaving,
And each does not play a role.
Seven actions in the play that. First baby
Roasting bitterly in the hands of Mom ...
Then there is a folding schoolboy with a book bag,
With face ruddy, reluctant, snail
Crazy to school. And then the lover,
Sighing, like a furnace, with ballads sad
In honor of the eyebrows cute. And then soldiers,
Whose speech is always the curses full,
He drew a beard like a leopard,
Jealous to honor, scaby in a quarrel,
Ready glory to search
Although in a cannon train. Then the judge
With a bump round, where the cap is hardened,
With a strict eye, a stredized beard,
Template rules and centions storehouse -
So he plays a role. Sixth age -
It will be a skinny pantalon,
In glasses, in shoes, the belt is a wallet,
In the pants that from youth shore, wide
For the feet of witty; courageous voice
Replaced again by a Discount Discount:
Begging like flute ... and the last act,
The end of all this strange, complex play -
Second childhood, half fear:
Without eyes, without feelings, without taste, without everything.

Jaques.

The whole world is hired

The authorship of this phrase is traditionally attributed to William Shakespeare, but the first source of Shakespeare words - writings of the Roman writer Guy Petrononia. His string "Mundus Universus Exercet Histrioniam" (Mundus Univaersus Yezzerssa Husters) is literally translated from Latin means - "the whole world is engaged in a hyserist."

The phrase "Totus Mundus Agit Histronem" (the whole world plays a comedy) decorated the building of the Globus Theater, for which Shakespeare wrote his plays.
